Work Out During Your Workday

I work behind a desk all day and one of the toughest aspects of the job is the sitting. By nature, I’m a very active person and I like to keep fit. Luckly Walden has a fitness center that I can get a quick workout in when I get home. In any case, I came across an excercise tip online today and wanted to share. It’s perfect for active people stuck behind desks all day, like me.
“Sit on a stability ball to strengthen your core, and keep dumbbells or exercise tubing at your desk. Squeeze in 12 to 15 reps of exercises like dumbbell curls, overhead presses and ab crunches; aim for two or three sets of each. This gives you more free time to fit in fun workouts like biking or tennis.”
