Twitter 365 Project - Day 62 by lu_lu.I work behind a desk all day and one of the toughest aspects of the job is the sitting.  By nature, I’m a very active person and I like to keep fit.  Luckly Walden has a fitness center that I can get a quick workout in when I get home.  In any case, I came across an excercise tip online today and wanted to share.  It’s perfect for active people stuck behind desks all day, like me.

“Sit on a stability ball to strengthen your core, and keep dumbbells or exercise tubing at your desk. Squeeze in 12 to 15 reps of exercises like dumbbell curls, overhead presses and ab crunches; aim for two or three sets of each. This gives you more free time to fit in fun workouts like biking or tennis.”

Make Time For A Good Night’s Sleep

How you sleep plays a big role in how you will feel the rest of the day. I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you that, but it is true. I don’t think we really realize just how important sleep is though until we have to go without it or it’s Monday morning and we have to get up for work – again.

Not sleeping well though can add to your problems though causing you greater stress and even make you gain weight. You don’t have to get eight hours of sleep to sleep well, but you need to the right amount of sleep for you whatever that may be. Take some time to clear your mind before trying to lay down and see if that can’t help you dream a little easier.

Feel free to share your thoughts.
